# FitCard > FitCard tells a man which size to buy in a shirt by comparing that shirt's real garment measurements (the shirt laid flat, not a body-size chart) with shirts he already owns that fit him. Answers are put in terms of his own shirts: "Buy L: fits like your Puma L, ½″ roomier." Most brands only publish body charts ("L is for a 41–44″ chest"), which can't tell two shirts apart: six Uniqlo Larges, all "for a 41–44″ chest", measure 41½″ to 50½″ around. FitCard keeps a growing database of real garment measurements from brand charts, wholesale spec sheets and photo-checked measurements by its users. ## For AI agents: MCP server - Endpoint: `https://fitcard.ai/mcp` (MCP Streamable HTTP, stateless JSON, no sign-in) - Tools: - `size_me(shirt, my_shirts)`: the size to buy in one shirt, why, how it will fit, and a confidence. - `what_to_buy(my_shirts, category?, limit?)`: shirts that will fit him, each in the right size with a buy link, plus a link to his full FitCard. - `shirt_measurements(brand, item, size?)`: a shirt's garment measurements by size (chest all the way around and length, inches). - `my_shirts` is a list of shirts he owns: `{brand, item, size, chest?, belly?, length?}`. If he says a shirt is off somewhere, pass where: chest is "too tight", "a bit tight", "right", "a bit loose" or "too loose" (chest and shoulders); belly uses the same words (many men find shirts right at the chest and tight at the belly); length is "too short" ... "too long". Ask him for 3–5 shirts that fit him well, plus any that don't and where. Pass only what he says; FitCard never takes typed-in measurements. - `fit_preference` (optional): "close", "standard" or "relaxed", if he says how he likes shirts to fit. - `suit_size` and `dress_shirt_size` (optional): off the label, e.g. "44L" and "17 34/35", if he knows them. They help with Tall sizes and long sleeves; his shirts still decide the size. - Sizes are FitCard's best estimate, not a guarantee; he should check the shop's return policy. - If one of his shirts isn't known yet, the response says so. He can measure it with his phone at https://fitcard.ai (a QR code opens the camera; it checks the size tag, chest and length). Add it in Claude as a custom connector, or in any MCP client: ```json { "mcpServers": { "fitcard": { "type": "http", "url": "https://fitcard.ai/mcp" } } } ``` ## For people - [Build your FitCard](https://fitcard.ai/): add your best-fitting shirts, get your numbers and what to buy. - [Privacy](https://fitcard.ai/privacy) · [Terms](https://fitcard.ai/terms) Some buy links are affiliate links.
